Just blabbering

Since I'm on my 2 week vacation from school, I have all the time to read my friends' blogs plus bloghop for more intresting people. Hirap pala ng ganito, you expect people to come up with a recent post so you can read something new or know what they have been up to lately. But it's wrong though, I know that I shouldn't be expecting them to have the extra time to update just because I as of the moment have the luxury of time to spare.
I know, I know. I'm basically just blabbering.

I've noticed too that one's schedule may not be the only reason why one frequently or scarcely updates they're sites. Because there were plently of times when, although I have the time to blog, I don't if I'm not in the mood. But there are times, like now, when I could go on and on. There's so much to blog about, so little time. So I've come up with a few of these funny bits from my family.

I was playing "twinkle, twinkle little star"on the piano (not like a pro ha) one note at a time so that my daughter could sing along. After the song she said: "My turn to play mom! I'll play the shake your booty song".....

aunt: Let's go to my place, we just rented a new DVD.
me: Really, what movie did you rent?
aunt: Yung "mother f*cker" ( she was dead serious, still haven't realize what she just said)

Everybody went like: ha? anong movie yun?
aunt: Yung sequel ng "Meet the Parents".

Ngekk! Meet the Fockers pala!

We went out with my husband's family one day, well of course my mother-in-law was there too. After dinner we headed to Starbucks for a cup of mocha frap for me and a machiatto for my husband. Since my mother in-law wasn't really exposed to new stuff, she wasn't aware of such heavenly coffeeshops like Starbucks, so she was somewhat surprised on how good the coffee tasted. But on the way home my husband compained on having a huge tummy ache, which he usually experiences on certain days on certain food that he eats. So it wasn't new to us that he was screaming while driving as fast as he could to reach our home to use the bathroom. My mother-in-law on the other hand didn't handle it quite well. She was so worried and was almost about to put a curse on what she thinks the source of his poor son's tummy ache. Yes, she blamed it on Starbucks.

MOM: O yan ha. Sa uulitin ingat kayo sa mga iniinom ninyo!!!
(hello? then why would it be so popular if it brought diarrhea to everybody)

:Iba yung gatas na ginagamit nila! Hindi maganda yon!
(but she admittedly liked loved it before the tummy ache incident)I distinctly remember her saying: Ang sarap nito ah!

:Wag na wag na kayong iinom ng STOCKBAR!!!

Hay, old people talga. I didn't have the energy to explain to her that some people are lactose intolerant or just have irritable bowel syndrome. And my husband happens to have one of those syndromes, it's no big deal to us, but obviously it was to her. My husband and I were laughing our tails off when we got home.
