For my single friends out there...

  • Q: It seemed as if we had a very nice date, why hasn't he called me?

  • Q: Is he really that busy in his schedule that he couldn't pick up
the phone and give me a call?

  • Q: We have been in a serious relationship for years, why hasn't he
    popped the question?

  • Q: He said he is just not ready for marriage, after being together
for years, is that a valid excuse?

  • Answer: He's just not that into you...sorry but it's the truth.

We often think that somehow women give off mixed signals or messages that men could not decipher. The truth is, men are not complicated. They're just trying to be nice and gentle so as not to hurt our precious feelings. Ironically, in the end someone still gets hurt. The point is women deserve better! They are just wasting their time on making excuses for a dead-end relationship.

    Edit your vocabulary:
Friend: A person who is your pal. What it generally means in relationships is he's just not that into you.

Busy: Busy means I'm the President of the United States. I'm an astronaut and I'm on another planet. I'm in a really successful band. What it means in relationships is, yeah, I'm just not that into you.

Bad boy: A bad boy is just a bad boy. Stay away. If you're dating somebody that's a bad boy, that's just your fault. If you say "my boyfriend's kind of a bad boy," I feel bad for you. If you say, "I like bad boys" well, then I don't feel bad for you. If you say, "I like things that don't work." Okay, good for you. Generally, guys with low self-esteem aren't worth the trouble. They're just not.

Question: How can I tell if he thinks I'm worth it?
Answer: If the guy thinks you're worth it, he will do whatever is necessary if he thinks you're worth it. If he doesn't, then he doesn't. He's just not that into you.

Standard-Raising SuggestionsI will not go out with a man who:
    (a) Keeps me waiting by the phone
    (b) Is not sure he wants to date me
    (c) Makes me feel sexually undesirable
    (d) Drinks or does drugs to an extent that makes me uncomfortable
    (e) Fears talking about our future
    (f) Is married

I will not, under any circumstances, spend my precious time with a man who has already rejected me or who is not clearly a good, kind, loving person.

    When life seems unfair...

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent".

    --Eleanor Roosevelt

If you consider that there may be meaning in the disappointments of life and that the universe is compassionate and wise, you will be able to open yourself to authentic power—the real power within yourself

Learn to control your negativity. Your life does not have to be unfair.
You need to put yourself in a place of surrender. Be open to the possibilities that can change your life—they may bring you a greater sense of joy and fulfillment

Consider the "bad" event in your life as a wake-up call to truly appreciate your life as it was. Ask yourself, "What am I supposed to learn from this?" Once you surrender to your anger, you will find room for other things in your life.

    Html Colors

    Debbie
    You are mediumseagreen.
Your dominant hues are cyan and green. Although you definately strive to be logical you care about people and know there's a time and place for thinking emotionally. Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

    Sandy
    You are ghostwhite
Your dominant hue is blue, making you a good friend who people love and trust. You're good in social situations and want to fit in. Just be careful not to compromise who you are to make them happy.

Your saturation level is very low - you have better things to do than jump headfirst into every little project. You make sure your actions are going to really accomplish something before you start because you hate wasting energy making everyone else think you're working.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

    Inspiration

    Snagged this from Whiskey River...
    Such an inspiration.

If you want to be a writer, write. If you want to be a painter, then paint. There are no magical barriers and there are no ships that are coming for you. You have to follow your dream as if it were something your life depended on. Just begin and don't ever, ever slow down. Make no compromises and do the best work you are capable of. Throw out the old ideas or use them as levers to discover new ones. Reinvent, waste, invert, twist, bend, and puncture your ideas with new ones. Combine, reverse, and put things where they don't belong. Teach your mind how to misbehave. Then, in the chaos, take the exacto knife to it and make it simple."

    September Eleventh

    September Eleventh

The day we will never forget

A tragic date that most of us regret.

I feel nothing more than pity and anger for those who have brought

    Danger to so many lives.

Look at all that's left behind:

    Husbands and wives,

Homes with children left with nothing but tears falling from their eyes.

    Just remember;

God will save us from our fears,

So go on and wipe those tears.
